Smocked Dress

This is my first try with new fabric. I bought half yard of this fabric from Jo-Ann fabric store for $2. Smocked dresses are one of my favorite. So I decided to do it for this.. I looked into many smocked dress pictures before going on with this design..  Then I took a dress that fits perfect for my little one and took the measurements and made a pattern... I made Smocking for the back of the dress. I think the dress came up good finally... :)

Crochet- Hat, Headband, Flower

 Crochetting is the new hobby I have come across. I liked it a lot. So these are my first trial with crochet.

Pillow case Dress

So here comes my first play around with my new machine..

I was looking for some old clothes to repurpose. That is when I came across this old dress of mine.
Sewing it was pretty easy. it just took me hardly an hour for entire cutting and sewing of the dress. The ribbons used for tying is the one I used to make hair bows... 

My new sewing Machine...

After a long break I am back with sewing, but this time with new computerized sewing machine.. I have learned the basics of sewing with a very old model machine with just one stitch function.. So transition from that to a computerized machine with 70 stitches is totally different...
Now let me introduce my new machine, Brother CP 7500.
After reading reviews of many different sewing machines and based on my personal choice I took the decision to go forward with this machine..  It is a cool machine...

Hair Bows

These are the simplest hair bows anyone can make. I made these for my little one.. I got inspiration for making these bows when I bought few hair accessories for my little one. I still have to try on making some different types.
